Think Heart Apps

Think Heart Apps AB

Privacy.

This is the whole policy. It is short because we collect almost nothing, and we would rather you were able to read it than impressed that it exists.

This website

No cookies, and nothing stored on your device

This site sets no cookies. It writes nothing to local storage or session storage. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tag manager, no pixel, no fingerprinting, and no A/B testing. Nothing about your visit is used to build a profile of you, here or anywhere else.

This is also why you have not been shown a cookie banner. Consent is required for storing or reading information on your device, and we do not do either. A banner asking permission for nothing would be theatre, and we would rather not.

No third-party requests

Every file this page needs — the stylesheet, the script, the images and all three typefaces — is served from this domain. Typefaces are commonly loaded from Google Fonts, which transmits the visitor's IP address to Google on every page view. We host ours ourselves specifically to avoid that. Loading this page contacts no one but us.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service provided by Google. Like effectively every web server, it records a log entry for each request. That entry contains your IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser and operating system your request announced. We use these only to keep the site running and to investigate abuse or errors. We do not combine them with anything else, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Because Google operates globally, log data may be processed outside the EU/EEA under the safeguards in Google's data processing terms.

The apps

Our apps are built to the same standard as this site: minimal collection, no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, and no behavioural profiles. Where an app can keep your content on your device, it does — journals, reflections and notes in our wellbeing titles are stored locally unless you explicitly turn on a feature that needs otherwise.

What each app collects depends on what that app does, so the authoritative, per-app detail lives with the app itself: see the privacy information on its App Store or Google Play listing, and the privacy section inside the app. If anything there is unclear, or contradicts this page, write to us and we will fix it.

Apps in the For Kidz series are made for children. They contain no advertising, no in-app purchases aimed at children, no external links out of the app, and no account or sign-in.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Write to hello@thinkheart.co and a person will answer. We will respond within one month. We do not charge for this, and we will not ask you why.

In practice, for a website visit, the only personal data we are likely to hold is a server log entry, and we will need enough detail from you — roughly when you visited, and from which IP address — to find it.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your personal data badly, please tell us first — it is usually the fastest way to get it fixed. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will change the date at the top and say what changed. We will not quietly broaden it and hope nobody re-reads it.
